ARCHITECTURAL & Planning SERVICES
We can help to create the perfect design within the space you already owe or looking to buy. For a number of years we have worked with professional architectural firm which helped our clients to achieve the best possible results. Our architectural services include bespoke designs, planning application and construction documents. All submitted application have successfully been granted planning permission.

Any alteration to your home needs to be both structurally safe and able to stand the test of time in order to satisfy Building Control. Our structural engineer works closely with the architects, advising and consulting on the designs in development. All the undertaken by Crownhill Building Services projects have been successfully sighed off by the Building Control.

Any ground floor extensions starts with the groundworks: drainage and foundation. We have extensive experience in drainage: from moving manholes, adding or creating new drainage solutions for foul and rain water to obtaining build over agreements from Anglian Water - we have done it all. Every project is treated individually and the best possible foundation would be implemented: trench, pad and steel, raft or piled foundation - we are the experts in building home extensions.
Walls & Steels
Most of our projects required steel installations of various sizes and complexity. Some projects would only have a single RSJ to install but most of the project we undertaken had many RSJs with complex design and connections including vertical steel posts with individual foundations. We can tie in the existing brick wall of 200mm overall width with the currently required 350mm width using a few available options. Our bricklayers always get great comments regarding the excellent brickwork from the people passing by the building site.
roof
We have completed hundreds of projects with both pitched and flat roofs. Each of the roof construction types comes with its benefits and drawbacks and we would always discuss those with our customers before the start of the build. On many occasions the customer changed the roof type after discussing the matter with us. We have installed many Velux roof lights as well as lanterns and flat roof windows as large as 1.5m x 2.5m. We have also completed low pitch (10-12 degrees) roofs with roof windows.
Finishing
We provide a wide range of services when it comes to finishing the project: electrics first and second fix, plumbing first and second fix, new heating system supply and fit, water based underfloor heating installation, plastering, carpentry, flooring, painting etc. We have installed hundreds of kitchens, bathrooms, en-suites, cloakrooms etc and everything is done to the highest possible standards. PRICE GUARANTEE
We are keen to give our customers a price up front which we can guarantee won’t change during the construction process. We do this by providing a detailed drawing for each of the trades (like electrics, plumbing etc) and a contract to compliment those drawings. The price will only deviate from the original quotation if there are major alterations to the original specification or additional work requested by you (the customer).
WARRANTIES
Crownhill Building Services provides a no quibble one-year warranty for any defective parts, or faulty workmanship. We recognise that no-one is perfect, and we always respond quickly to any warranty queries that we receive. In rare cases, where remediation work is required, we’re always happy to offer our immediate support to clients.
